AZ became a territory in 1863. It wasn't a state until 1912. This ridiculous law was written 48 years before it became a state.

I watched way too much tv as a kid, and I learned everything I needed to know from SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK. I aced a ninth grade history test by whisper-singing the folky Preamble jingle to myself. A+! I was just thinking recently that there is a nitch for that style of education again. For instance, “-“(45) said, during an insane courthouse hallway rant, that he’s not allowed to testify at his criminal trial in NY because the judge issued a gag order against him. His lawyer, standing right next to him, nodded his head in agreement to that statement. I yelled at the tv as if he’d hear me, “WTF?”. What “-“(45) stated is not a thing, but his lawyer, who used to be well respected, was also confirming the thing that is certainly NOT a thing. My mind wandered and I thought this might be a good time reprise the SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK segments since no one knows anything about civics, government or the law anymore. Maybe one explaining how gag orders work? It could follow the Edwin Starr song, WAR (What is it good for?):

GAG ORDERS, WHUH, HUHH,

What are they good for?

Absolutely nothing! (except for outside the court)

Say it again…

You are onto something!
